Hi,
Does anybody know how to resolve the lz problem while make-ing the bioawk?
I have sudo apt-get installed the lib32z1-dev...but still no go! What gives? Am using a 64-bit machine with 32-bit Ubuntu 12.04 LTC installed.... bioawk source is ANSI c and uses gcc I think...
Any pointers would be highly appreciated. Also, please let me know how I can convert this Ubuntu PC into a real "old or ancient" unix developer box. I have been incrementally adding all the typical unix tools like awk and yacc...*sigh*...
